The talented Yoruba rap act whose real name is Olamide Adedeji, was born on March 15, 1989 in Bariga, Lagos State although he hails from Ogun State.
He acquired a degree in Mass Communication from the Tai Solarin University of Education and he is the fifth child in a family of seven
Olamide caught the attention of people with the release of his debut album, Rapsodi under the Coded Tunes record label. He was managed by 9ice’s ex wife, Toni Payne at the time.
In 2012, Olamide left Coded Tunes to form his own label called YBNL. Till date, the indigenous rapper has dropped four studio albums including Rapsodi, YBNL(Yahoo Boy No Laptop), Baddest Guy Ever Liveth and Street OT. Olamide was endorsed as a brand ambassador for Ciroc and Guinness in 2013. He has also bagged numerous awards for his incredible music which people in different economic status can relate to.
